I transferred to Mizzou after I attended a local community college in St. Louis. I graduated high school during COVID-19, so I wanted to wait to attend a university. When I transferred there, I was welcomed by T.E.A.M., which is a transfer group. I moved into a dorm for my first year, an apartment my second year and for my final year, another apartment. Since I do the journalism program, I had to add on a 5th year to my college career. Overall, Mizzou, and especially the journalism school, have been amazing to be a part of and on top of all of that, the campus is beautiful. I am excited for my upcoming final year at Mizzou!

Beautiful Campus: The campus is known for its beauty, featuring historic buildings, scenic landscapes, and the iconic Columns on Francis Quadrangle. The combination of modern and historic architecture provides a picturesque environment for students.
School Spirit and Sports: Mizzou has a vibrant school spirit, particularly evident during sporting events. The university's athletic teams, known as the Missouri Tigers, compete in the Southeastern Conference (SEC), one of the most competitive athletic conferences in the nation. Football and basketball games are particularly popular and foster a strong sense of community.
Columbia, MO: The city of Columbia, where Mizzou is located, is often praised for its vibrant community, cultural events, and friendly atmosphere. It's a college town that offers a mix of urban amenities and small-town charm, making it a great place to live and study.

I've had a great experience so far at the University. Met some of my best friends here, and the school so far has gotten me very excited about what's to come from my career choice. My time at Mizzou has been incredibly rewarding. The campus is breath taking and the academic programs are top-notch, making my experience both enjoyable and enriching. I've had the chance to learn from dedicated professors and participate in thought-provoking discussions. Being involved in various student organizations has allowed me to follow my passions and connect with students who share my interests. From the excitement of football games and tailgates to peaceful study sessions at Ellis Library, all of the moments have contributed to a fulfilling college experience. I'm gratful to be part of such a dynamic and supportive community.
